Olympic Park is a brand new residential complex on the north-western edge of Minsk that is looking forward to the development of its surroundings.
The Olympic Park Complex is a small residential complex on the north-western edge of Minsk. It is located between Timiryazeva and Ratamka streets next to the Swan Pond biological reserve. The Swan Pond city rail line is located nearby. The Pobediteley Avenue is located on the other side along with the Drazdy Lake.
The residential part of the complex is comprised of around 20 low-rise residences of 5 to 7 stories and several groups of townhouses. Also within the complex is the Olympic Arena sporting arena, which contains a hockey rink, a gym, a swimming pool and a spa area.
Nearby is the luxurious Swan Pond Restaurant located right next to the small pond. The rest of the territory around the park is a protected natural reserve.
There is plenty of parking available within the complex. The residential houses have underground parking while there is also surface level parking near the sporting arena.
The location of the Olympic Park Complex has both advantages and drawbacks. The advantages are that it’s located close to a biological reserve. However, it is rather significantly removed from the city center, and it is surrounded by high-traffic roads on all sides, including the Minsk ring road, which has high traffic throughout the whole day.
This area of city is likely to change and evolve in the coming years to reflect the new trends in Minsk.
The apartment prices of the Olympic Park complex reflect the rather exclusive conditions that it can offer its residents, like underground parking, nice lobby interiors, the low-rise buildings and the 3-meter tall ceilings. Well-finished apartments of a substantial size may go for 500 to 600 thousand US dollars while modest-size one-room apartments may be priced at 100 to 200 thousand. While these prices may be higher than most apartments in Minsk, the price difference reflects the advantages of Olympic Park that are not found in the other offers.
